ACS believes that sustainability is at the heart of what we do!

Environmental, social, and ethical performance – or sustainability – is an essential factor for measuring our performance in the modern world. We have been audited recently by Ecovadis, an independent supply chain sustainability assessor. ACS achieved Silver status, ranking us in the top 15% of all companies and well ahead of the industry average. The rating takes account of four key areas:

• Environment
• Labour and human rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable procurement

We've introduced industry gold standard environmental initiatives in recent years and are constantly seeking to reduce our environmental impact and create a culture of sustainability. Examples include:

• AquaSmart – chemical free cleaning
• BioHygiene range
• Washable microfibre cloths and mopheads (washing machine will be provided)
• Reduced plastic
• Recycling programmes for ourselves and our clients
• Environmentally friendly consumables options
• Pulse mops to reduce water use and disposable mopheads
• Electric and hybrid vehicles
• Initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint
• Bubbleflush toilet cleaning without chemicals
