ACS has held ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation since May 2005. This accreditation underpins the company’s commitment to meeting the standards of service provided for by the contract and working hours. Our aim is to meet our clients’ needs in the most reliable, friendly, safe and efficient way possible: our prime commitment is to provide the service our clients expect, when they expect it.
Part of the supervision of the contract includes quality monitoring, the results of which are shared with the client. All procedures comply with recognised good and safe cleaning practice.
ACS operates a simple but visible Quality Monitoring System where monthly audit results are coded as follows:
Green - Good, cleaned to specification
Amber - Minor detail (to be noted)
Red - Unsatisfactory, not cleaned to specification (details to be noted)
This simple but effective system provides a clearly visible reporting trail, showing trends by area and overall. In our experience this system helps to improve standards and avoid repetition of any failures.
ACS uses a staff monitoring and management system, which helps us accurately monitor staff attendance, hours worked, lateness, sickness and holidays. We also use an iPad-based Contract Manager System that enables our contract management team to access all contract information from site including staff lists, full site details, machinery information, COSHH details, risk assessments and audit forms. These are then specifically set using agreed KPIs. Audits are then available electronically in an instant.
