Window and high-level cleaning
Window cleaning and industrial cleaning form a significant part of our work, and specialist operatives are employed for these activities. Much of the glass cleaning work involves difficult access and our window cleaning staff are trained and experienced in using a wide range of equipment. Window cleaning is a skill which requires competent and experienced professionals.
Our professional and highly skilled window cleaning team provides a specialist service that is second to none. Reaching difficult areas is no problem with our extensive range of access equipment, including aerial platforms, high-level rope access, cradle access, scaffolding, harness systems and the long-pole ‘Reach & Wash’ system.
Our many years’ experience of cleaning buildings in the East Anglian region is regularly called upon as we tackle difficult jobs on a regular basis, and all our work is carried out under the strictest Health & Safety guidance. We have experience of cleaning glazing in some of the most difficult and demanding premises and we can provide a variety of methods including high-level rope access, suspended access equipment, fall restraint systems, mobile ‘Reach & Wash’ systems, and vehiclemounted access equipment (e.g. cherry pickers and MEWPs).
Clients benefit from the knowledge that a full site risk assessment is always carried out before work commences, that full, comprehensive insurance is maintained and that work is carried out by experienced and trained staff.
ACS has three high-level teams, two of which are dedicated to window cleaning, with the third equipped and trained to carry out high-level industrial cleaning. Each member of staff in this division is a professional and qualified window cleaner, who is also experienced and trained in the skills needed to provide a safe, high-quality service.
In addition to window cleaning, they also undertake cladding cleaning and other external building cleaning.
There will always be occasions when other forms of access equipment will be required. Our operators carry IPAF certificates, which qualify them to operate mobile elevating work platforms (or cherry pickers). They are also trained and qualified to erect scaffolding (PASMA) and the company regularly uses its scaffold tower for high-level access work.
The ACS window cleaning teams are easily identifiable by their liveried vans and the company uniform which they must wear at all times.
